Chablis definitely teased me this time - we were certain she wasn't pregnant.
Planning to show Chablis in the US next year (2005) thus, taking the year off from breeding, Marg decided at the last possible day to do a breeding with Storm and Chablis.
Chablis was out running and playing very freely up until the last possible minute prior to delivery on Monday, July 19th. The only signs she showed of being in whelp was consistent digging but, all Sammies dig!
However, she blessed us with a beautiful little girl and a very strong and healthy male.
The next day our good friend Justine, Akamute Alaskan Malamutes, was looking for a brood bitch for some of her puppies that were born a few days prior as their dam did not have sufficient milk.
Since Chablis was strong and healthy we decided to put some of the Malamute puppies with Chablis and her litter.

Chablis became a mom to 3 Alaskan Malamutes. Chablis continues to
amaze us with her solid gentle true Samoyed temperament.
We were so happy to help out these other puppies. |
